The NBA’s training camps are just around the corner, with preseason and, soon, regular season to follow. For Raptors fans, it couldn’t come soon enough — things are different this year, but it’s going to be exciting to see how the new-look squad with Kawhi Leonard shapes up.

Not to be ignored, though, is the returning cast of Toronto’s Bench Mob. Present at a workout run alongside such stars as Russell Westbrook, James Harden and Paul George were none other than a couple of the young Raptors.

Fred VanVleet, Delon Wright, Pascal Siakam, Norman Powell and OG Anunoby all make appearances, as well as training camp invite Lorenzo Brown for the enthusiasts.

Not bad, eh? It isn’t sure yet what the Raptors’ rotation will look like next season — for example, whether or not Anunoby joins the bench with Kawhi in town — but it’s encouraging for fans to see that the team’s young guns are maintaining their chemistry in these workout runs. That isn’t always a given with these things!

As if fans needed another reason to root for him, VanVleet recently dropped in on a local basketball court in Toronto and got a few runs in with some locals.
