Every team has gone through some tough times. There’s no arguing that.

You can’t be consistently amazing every year, and even some of the all-time best programs have had to allow some time for rebuild in their history.

Buffalo Sabres fans know that better than anyone else.

This year, though, there’s a new breeze blowing through Buffalo, and with young and promising talent like Jack Eichel and first overall pick Rasmus Dahlin, things seem to be on a steep incline.

The Sabres are currently sitting at third in the Atlantic Division and fourth in the league with a very respectable 28 points in 21 games, and are l riding a six game win streak, a tear that the team hasn’t completed since December of 2009.

Needless to say, fans are over the moon.

We can totally see where the excitement comes from, and for the sake of Buffalo fans who also have to cheer for the Bills, we hope the Sabres keep it up.
