Daniel and Henrik Sedin will always be beloved in the city of Vancouver. The identical twins from Sweden are the two longest tenured Vancouver Canucks of all time, with Henrik playing 1,330 games with the team, and Daniel not far behind at 1,306 games. They never played any games with another team.

Using their unique relationship on the ice in which their chemistry is almost unmatched, the two also made their way up almost all other offensive leaderboards, including going 1-2 in assists, points, plus/minus, and many more.

They are always welcome in Van City.

On Sunday, they decided to take part in the Vancouver marathon.

Wearing their familiar numbers of 33 and 22, Henrik and Daniel posted pretty respectable times.

Daniel finished first, but according to the Vancouver Marathon Twitter account, it is “rumoured” that they will maybe be running more. The winner of the marathon was Japan’s Yuki Kawauchi, who finished in a time of 2:15:01, less than an hour before Daniel crossed.

Apparently there were a total of 5,147 participants in the various events, so Daniel placing 192 and Henrik placing 359 in the full marathon isn’t bad at all.

The only surprising thing is that they didn’t finish with more identical times, just like everything else they do.
