Chandler Stephenson is a Stanley Cup champion with the Washington Capitals and on Friday, it was the Saskatoon native's day with arguably the greatest trophy in sports.

Being from Saskatchewan, Stephenson made the decision to bring the Cup to Humboldt and the Cup was brought to the memorial site for the Broncos.

Friday is Humboldt Hockey Day at the Elgar Petersen Unipiex and Stephenson isn't the only NHL player on hand for the event.

We hope everyone in Humboldt enjoys the day with the Stanley Cup as the hockey world and the entire country continues to be #HumboldtStrong
