The Washington Capitals are Stanley Cup champs and the content that has come out of their triumph is more voluminous than ever before. While this mostly came in the form of hilarious celebration videos from Alex Ovechkin and the boys, some incredible art has also emerged to tantalize our eyeballs.

Most recently, artist Taylor Kampa Olson took it upon herself to create six incredible paintings with a different Washington Capitals player featured in each. Shown through the mesmerizing tactic of time-lapse video, you can see Olson’s creations come to life.

The list (so far!) includes Braden Holtby, T.J. Oshie, John Carlson, Alex Ovechkin, Nikolas Backstrom, and Tom Wilson. Each of the six were a major factor in the Capitals franchise-first Stanley Cup, and now they are immortalized in beautiful paintings.

It's hard to pick which one is your favourite as they are all incredibly realistic. If you didn’t watch them get painted right in front of your eyes you may even think it’s a picture at first glance.

Videos like these (along with the Caps’ legendary celebrations) are making some fans hope for a back-to-back championship from Washington’s favourite puck squad.
