The NBA finals are in full swing, and with a title on the line, the animosity between the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors is at all all-time high.
With so much desire to beat the other team, you’d have to imagine that there would be absolutely no ties between the two teams (except, you know, Drake).
While Raptors fans definitely thought the rapper’s allegiance to Golden State was questionable, it’s nothing compared to the way these Warriors fans felt when they found out one of their star players has ties to the Raptors.
Yup, you read that right!
KD used to have some love for the Raps.
This is surprising enough for most basketball fans, so you can only imagine what Warriors fans were feeling when they found out this interesting tidbit.
Whether or not Durant actually plays is still up in the air, but we’ll see as Game Five looms closer, and the Raps have a chance to make history, while the Warriors have a chance to solidify the dynasty.
