Just over one year ago a gunman opened fire at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, and took the lives of 17 people while injuring 17 others.

On Wednesday night, the Golden State Warriors made their lone trip to Miami to take on the Heat and the Dubs had some special visitors join them during their practice.

The Warriors welcomed students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School at their pre-game practice and the kids got a chance to interact with the players, talk to the media, and even join the guys on the court for some basketball.

This is the first time the Warriors are playing in Miami since December 3, 2017, so it was awesome to see them bring out the students as their special guests.
