It’s the age-old debate that (almost) unanimously comes down to two players – who is the greatest basketball player of all time? Sure, you may get a few Kobe’s in there and some would even stray further than that, but the question basically boils down to two legendary, generational, greatest-of-all-time players.

MJ or LeBron.

Michael Jordan and LeBron James have both enjoyed successful NBA careers where they essentially dominated anyone they faced. While MJ supporters will bring up that Jordan played during a tougher time, LeBron advocates would fire back that LeBron’s ageless improvements and unbelievable versatility and consistency puts him atop the throne.

That consistency was bolstered on Friday when he broke an NBA record held by none other than Jordan. LeBron drove to the net and slammed home history as he became the first player to record 867 consecutive games with at least 10 points.

867!

To put it into perspective just how impressive that is, here are the other active leaders.

One of the greatest of all-time just became a little greater.
