Teams find many different ways to get into the holiday spirit once the festive season rolls around. From community initiatives to recreating music videos, teams are always coming up with different ideas this time of the year.
Last week, the WHL’s Portland Winterhawks got into the holiday spirit by hilariously lip-syncing along to Mariah Carey’s hit ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You’ and they made sure to get plenty of shots around Portland.
The video features NHL prospects Cody Glass, Kieffer Bellows, Henri Jokiharju, Cole Kehler, Brendan De Jong, Skyler McKenzie, Joachim Blichfeld and the rest of the Winterhawks’ roster.
They’re not the first team to get into the holiday spirit by lip-syncing along to Mariah Carey’s Christmas hit. The Buffalo Sabres also showed off their skills with a similar idea last year.
