The Cincinnati Reds and the Arizona Diamondbacks opened a three-game series at Chase Field on Friday night.

In the bottom of the second inning, Diamondbacks second baseman Wilmer Flores popped a ball up into foul territory in right field for what should have been an easy out for Reds right fielder Aristides Aquino, but the 25-year-old rookie was robbed by a young fan sitting in the front row.

The best part about the scenario is that if you watch the young fan’s face on the replay it clearly looks like he closed his eyes as the ball was about to land by him. However, that didn’t stop him from making the catch and stealing an easy out from the visitors.

It didn’t end up costing the Reds, though, as they went on to win the game, 4-3.
