Cale Makar only has one NHL game under his belt but that’s all he needed to earn a bunch of new fans in Colorado.
The 20-year-old Calgary, Alberta native made his NHL debut earlier this week after signed a contract with the Colorado Avalanche this past weekend and he found the back of the net on his first career shot. On Wednesday night the Avs hosted the Flames and fans showed up with heads of kale to show their support for Cale.
This is pretty great and it’s something we hope catches on among Avs fan because it would be pretty hilarious to see them wave heads of kale back and forth from the stands every single home game.
