The Winnipeg Jets will get their first taste of playoff hockey since the 2014-15 season when they host the Minnesota Wild for Game 1 of their first round series on Wednesday night.

Considering the team is coming off the best regular season in franchise history, the excitement surrounding the team is at an all-time high throughout Manitoba and local stars are showing their support for the boys ahead of Game 1, including Winnipeg Blue Bombers running back Andrew Harris.

The Winnipeg, Manitoba native is all in on the Jets as they embark on their first postseason berth in three years and he’s not the only one standing behind the team. Other big names including former U of Manitoba Bisons and NFL defensive end Israel Idonije, former NBA player Todd MacCulloch, Tom Cochrane and Jets and Manitoba Moose Alumni Randy Gilhen.

The entire city is preparing for the first whiteout of the postseason on Wednesday night and there’s no doubt that the Bell MTS Place is going to be one of the rowdiest arenas throughout the playoffs.
