Bill Belichick is a no-nonsense kind of guy, just ask literally any beat reporter that has ever had the guts to ask him a question. The man is straight up associated with the phrase “Do Your Job” and is widely known as one of the most cut-throat figures to ever slip on a head coaching headset.

The man means business, and it’s because he’s really, REALLY good at it.

Basically, the Patriots eat outspoken receivers for breakfast. Not only do they take advantage of receivers that have soured with the rest of the league due to their dramatics, but they also take them on and turn them into weapons of their own.

OBJ isn’t there yet (although he has explained that he’s open to it), but even with coach Belichick apparently dropping the same chirp to him each time they meet, he’s still got a tremendous amount of respect for the grump.

Bill Belichick knows how to send a pregame message.

Pretty bold to challenge a receiver of OBJ’s caliber with that kind of talk, but time and time again Belichick backs it up. Saying that, OBJ did record 104 yards and a touchdown in one of their three meetings.
