Ray Bourque played for the Boston Bruins from 1979-2000 and owns the franchise regular season records for most games played, assists, points and power play goals.

During his time with the Bruins, Bourque would hand deliver gifts to children at Boston-area hospitals during the holidays and it’s something that the Bruins still do to this day.

On Thursday afternoon, members of the Bruins took a trip to a local Walmart to purchase a lot of toys that they’ll be hand-delivering to children over the holiday season.

Patrice Bergeron, Brad Marchand, David Backes, Torey Krug, David Pastrnak, David Krejci, Zdeno Chara, Charlie McAvoy, Anders Bjork and Jake DeBrusk were all on hand for the trip to Walmart and picked out all the toys they’ll be distributing this year.

Considering they spent most of their day around toys, the guys had some fun and showed their lighter sides while they were picking out the items.
