The Washington Capitals set the standard on how to celebrate a championship in professional sports.

From Alex Ovechkin swimming in a water fountain, to T.J. Oshie shot gunning bears on stage during their cup rally, to Jakub Vrana’s hilarious escapades, the Caps raised the bar so high that even the team's biggest naysayers couldn’t help but crack a smile.

Watching Vrana broadcast the Capitals adventure on social media was amazing from a fan’s perspective, as it gave an exclusive look in how the team was celebrating, as well as an up close view of the tattoo he got after spending the day with the Washington Nationals.

But, from a PR point of view, Vrana had his Instagram Live story cut off by a very wise Tom Wilson.

Based of watching this video below, you can see why.

In an interview with a Czech news station, TV Nova, along with Michael Kempny, Vrana explained why he can’t exactly recall the moments he was so eager to share with the world on Instagram.

“It was definitely a long celebration, especially since it was a first win for Washington so everyone was enjoying it. And the celebration was definitely long and strenuous.”

When asked about the if he was designated to document all the shenanigans, Vrana gave a pretty honest, yet awesome, answer.

“I looked at it the next day and… I almost didn’t remember it. I had no idea it would blow up like this. I guess I took the fans behind the scenes a bit.”

Cheers, Jakub, and thank you for providing us with this awesome quote to go with all your shenanigans.
