Since the NHL Awards are less than 24 hours away, the players got a chance to interact with some of the NHL's brightest stars in Connor McDavidTaylor Hall, P.K. Subban and Anze Kopitar.

Other players up for awards this year showed up to greet the members of the team, including the Sedin twins and Sean Couturier.

The ten surviving members were in Vegas on Tuesday afternoon for a special announcement ahead of the NHL Awards taking place on Wednesday night, as the NHL and NHLPA revealed there will be a special event in Humboldt involving the Stanley Cup on August 24, which will be led by Washington Capitals' Chandler Stephenson and will also include other NHL players.

Nine of the 13 survivors met up in Calgary on Monday night for a flight to Las Vegas and all 10 of them will be at the NHL Awards on Wednesday night.
