DeMar DeRozan and Dwane Casey spent a lot of time together as the latter coached DeRozan and the Toronto Raptors from 2011-2018. However, after the moves that took place in Toronto this past offseason both DeRozan and Casey find themselves on different teams for the first time in nearly a decade.

On Monday night, the San Antonio Spurs went up against the Detroit Pistons for their first meeting of the season and the former members of the Raptors organization shared a moment before the game that will give Raptors fans all the feels.

Although a majority of Raptors fans have gotten over the deal, especially with how well the team has played so far this season, it’s still a little strange to see DeRozan and Casey representing a team other than Toronto considering they both put their heart and soul into the franchise.

Last week, Raptors fans were hit with another post that sent them back in time as Rudy Gay shared a photo of himself, Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan all hanging out like the old days.
