The day finally came for San Jose Sharks fans as Erik Karlsson made his debut with his new team on Wednesday night.
While the fan base already gave him a warm welcome to town during the preseason, they didn’t waste any time giving him an even warmer welcome ahead of the first regular season game of the year when his name was announced throughout the arena.
Sharks fans have always been some of the rowdiest fans in the league, so Wednesday night wasn’t any different when the newest member of the team was introduced to his new hometown.
It wasn’t exactly the debut Karlsson was hoping for, but there’s still 81 more games to go.
