Fernando Tatis Sr. did something no player has ever done before on April 23, 1999 as he became the first player in MLB history to hit two grand slams in the same inning, and they both came off the same pitcher.

He’s still the only player to ever do it to this day and he might go down as the only player who will ever do it, especially if we’re talking about two grand slams off the same pitcher.

Fast forward 22 years later and his 22-year-old son, Fernando Tatis Jr., did something very similar on the 22nd anniversary of his father’s historic night.

While it wasn’t two grand slams, or one for that matter, he did have himself a two home run night at Dodger Stadium on the 22nd anniversary of the night his father his two home runs at Dodger Stadium, and that’s pretty incredible.

You couldn’t make this up if you tried!
