From National Puppy Day to National Donut Day, there are appreciation days for just about everything these days.
Monday, July 8, 2019, happened to be National Video Game Day so the Philadelphia Flyers’ social media team celebrated by putting Gritty up against the Pittsburgh Penguins’ mascot IceBurgh in and old school Pokémon battle.
We know how effective Gritty is with a T-shirt cannon, so we’re not surprised he ended that battle with one quick blow.
The Edmonton Oilers’ social media team also got in on the fun by giving the 1987 classic ‘Blades of Steel’ an updated cover.
