The Miami Marlins have looked like a different team at the plate over the past week.

It all started with a 22-10 blowout over the Texas Rangers last Wednesday and they’ve gone on to score 58 runs over their past eight games, including a 7-0 shutout over the Washington Nationals on Wednesday night.

With the game pretty much all wrapped up in the top of the 9th inning, Nationals outfielder Brian Goodwin tried to end the Marlins’ shutout with a late home run, but Giancarlo Stanton had other ideas.

Stanton got some serious air as he took off and robbed Goodwin of a definite home run to end the game.

The 27-year-old right fielder is usually known for taking care of business with his bat, but this time he did it with his glove.
