You’ve got to be fully aware at all times on April Fools’ Day because you never know when you’re going to end up on the wrong end of someone else’s prank.

For Minnesota Wild defenceman Matt Dumba, he found himself with some extra time on his hands on Monday afternoon so he decided to fill in that free time by pranking his teammate Joel Eriksson Ek with hundreds of sticky notes.

Dumba has been out of the lineup since December 18 due to a ruptured right pectoralis muscle while Eriksson Ek has missed the past five games with a lower body injury, so they found a different way to stay busy on Monday. Luckily for the young forward there were other teammates still around to help him remove all the sticky notes.

The Wild find themselves four points back of the final wild card spot in the Western Conference with three games left on their schedule.
