People around the world were taken aback when they heard the news that rapper Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed outside of his store in South Los Angeles. The LA native hit the scene more than a decade ago and was a person who truly wanted to make a difference in his community and around the world and it showed in the responses that came from the sports world as prominent athletes took to social media to mourn the late rapper.
Less than 24 hours after Nipsey Hussle’s death the Toronto Raptors took to the court to prepare for their tilt with the Orlando Magic and California native Kawhi Leonard honoured Hussle on his kicks.
