The 2018 World Cup is underway in Russia and the first couple of days included some last-minute heartbreaks and highlight reel plays. This year’s edition of the tournament features 19 MLS players and one of them happens to be Vancouver Whitecaps FC captain Kendall Waston.

Before heading overseas to Russia to join the rest of his teammates, the San José, Costa Rica native caught up with Cabbie to discuss the types of things he’s expecting from the other teams in Costa Rica’s group (Brazil, Switzerland and Serbia) and the way he’s been preparing for his first World Cup.

The Costa Rica defender also shared how his multitasking skills have really helped him manage everything on his plate and talked about the many languages he can speak and much more in this segment of Cabbie Presents.

Costa Rica will open their tournament against Serbia on Sunday at 8am ET, which can be viewed on TSN
