Can the Madden series get it right two years in a row?

After their simulation nailed the pick last year by predicting a Kansas City Chiefs championship, Madden 21 simmed this year’s Super Bowl and is doubling down on another Chiefs title against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this year.

In the sim, the Chiefs win by a 34-27 final score, thanks to yet another MVP performance from Patrick Mahomes and two touchdown passes from Tyreek Hill.

Like in real life, the sim’s Tom Brady remains formidable through his age-43 year, and regardless of how it goes down on Sunday, we honestly just see it as a treat to get another Mahomes-Brady matchup in the Super Bowl.

It would be cool to see Mahomes and the Chiefs go back to back! It would also be cool to see Brady, timeless as ever, to bring a title to Tampa Bay.

The one variable that the sim can’t account for, though, is the eclectic fashion choices of one Andy Reid.
