After spending nearly five months incarcerated, rapper Meek Mill was officially released from prison on Tuesday. One of the first stops the Philadelphia native made after his release was a visit to the Wells Fargo Center to catch his Philadelphia 76ers in action against the Miami Heat.

As you probably already guessed, he got quite the ovation the second he stepped out of his vehicle to head inside the arena.

Not only did he get a warm welcome from the media and fans waiting outside, he got quite the reception from members of the Sixers when he greeted them during their pre-game workout.

The Sixers have a chance to eliminate the Heat on Tuesday night as they head into Game 5 with a 3-1 series lead, and they’ll have a little extra motivation with Meek Mill ringing the pre-game bell and most likely watching the game from a courtside seat.
