It’s been a very tough week and a half for the Los Angeles Angels and the baseball community as they’re still mourning the loss of Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs, who passed away at the age of 27 on July 1, 2019.

On Tuesday night, Mike Trout and Tommy La Stella will be representing the Angels in the 2019 MLB All-Star Game and they’ve found a way to honour the late Tyler Skaggs during the mid-season classic.

Both Trout and La Stella will pay tribute to Skaggs on Tuesday night by wearing the late pitcher’s No. 45 in the MLB All-Star Game.

Trout also arrived at Progressive Field wearing a No. 45 Skaggs pin, which is similar to the patch the Angels are wearing for the remainder of the season.

Every MLB All-Star is also wearing a black and white No. 45 patch on their jersey for the game.
