The Boston Red Sox and the Tampa Bay Rays wrapped up a four-game series in St. Petersburg, Florida, on Sunday afternoon. The home team came out victorious in the series, as the Rays took three out of the four games from the Red Sox including Sunday’s series finale.

Turns out Rays pitcher Chris Archer actually flew to Miami with Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts after the game, only Betts was the pilot of the plane.

First time flying a jet. Let me know if you need to be somewhere! I got you!! ✈️ 😉#CirrusAircraft

It’s takes just over 30 minutes to fly from St. Petersburg to Miami, so Betts didn’t have to go very far, but he’s still probably the only All-Star in either clubhouse who can say they flew themselves to Miami for the All-Star Game.

Both players will appear in their second MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday night.
