The Springfield Thunderbirds paid a visit to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms on Friday night and it was a one-sided game right from the get go. After the visitors opened the game with two goals in the first period, they blew the game right open with four goals in the second period and it all started with a beautiful set up by Henrik Borgström.

The 21-year-old Florida Panthers prospect received the puck after a great effort by Blaine Byron to help his team keep possession and then he topped the great play by Byron with an even better spin-o-rama pass to Anthony Greco.

It was quite the night for the youngster as he finished with his first career AHL goal and added two assists for a three-point night. As for Greco’s goal, it put the game completely out of reach as the T-Birds went on to blank the Phantoms with a massive 7-0 victory.

During the first intermission, the Phantoms mascot, MeLVin, introduced Gritty to the hometown crowd which makes the Flyers and their affiliates 0-2 with two goals for and 15 goals against whenever Gritty makes a debut at an arena.
