You probably aren’t familiar with the name Roman Marcotte, but you’ve probably come across one of his videos if you’re a hockey fan who spends a lot of time on Instagram. If you don’t know him it’s alright, since he’s just a 9-year-old boy from Anchorage, Alaska, but he’s definitely worth a follow on Instagram for his awesome hockey content.

Videos of Marcotte’s incredible stick handling abilities and impressive footwork have gone viral over the past few months and he’s rocking his Sidney Crosby jersey in nearly every single one. The Pittsburgh Penguins happened to stumble across his videos and ended up inviting Roman out to Pittsburgh for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

The youngster got a chance to meet Mario Lemieux, Sidney Crosby, and other members of the Penguins organization, and also got to take in a game from Lemieux's personal box.

While a bunch of his videos have gone viral over the past few months, this is the one that really brought his impressive skills to light.

It's pretty incredible that something as simple as uploading a video on Instagram can turn into an invite from an NHL club.
