This year marks the 11th time and third straight year the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Washington Capitals have met in the NHL playoffs and it’s pretty obvious there’s plenty of bad blood between the two.

The Capitals stole a 4-3 victory on the road in Game 3 on Tuesday night, but it’s not the late goal scored by Alex Ovechkin that has everyone in the hockey world talking, it’s Tom Wilson’s hit on Zach Aston-Reese that has most fans outraged. Midway through the second period, Wilson lined up Aston-Reese with a hit that left the Penguins forward down and out with a broken jaw. However, it was what came next that has people furious.

As the 23-year-old left the ice and went down the tunnel Wilson appeared to be laughing at Aston-Reese from the team bench. Following the game, Justin Schultz weighed in on the situation and was not pleased with Wilson's actions.

Kris Letang was spotted shouting at Wilson and the Caps’ bench immediately after the hit and appeared to tell them how messed up it was that they were laughing at him. On Wednesday, Letang weighed in as well.

There’s still plenty of time left in the series, so if you thought it was a rough series already we’re guessing it’s about to get 10 times more physical.
