Rhys Hoskins has only played 38 MLB games, but everyone around the league already knows his name.

In his short stint with the Philadelphia Phillies this season, the 24-year-old is already third on the team with 18 home runs and also has 39 RBI and a .290 batting average in just 131 at-bats.

Last week, the Phillies played a great three-game series at home against the Miami Marlins. In the first two games, Hoskins went 4-for-8 with three home runs and five RBI.

Ahead of the series finale, a Phillies fan by the name of Damon Miller Jr. promised the Phillies he would buy chicken nuggets for everyone if Hoskins homered for a third straight game and he ended up losing the bet on Hoskins’ first at-bat of the evening.

You probably shouldn't bet against a kid who has now hit 18 home runs in just 34 games. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Miller could have easily backed out of his Twitter bet, but decided to stay true to his word.

On Tuesday night, Miller was in attendance for the team’s home game against the Los Angeles Dodgers and he had a lot of chicken nuggets with him.

The team hooked him up with some pretty sweet seats for the game and it all came full circle as he ended up catching a ball from Hoskins from his seat.

Sports and chicken nuggets tend to bring a lot of people together.
