Before taking on the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday night, Gilgeous-Alexander arrived in style with a hoodie showing AI’s infamous step-over of Lue, who is currently an assistant coach with the Clips. He was on the staff last season when Gilgeous-Alexander played his rookie season in the NBA with the team.
It’s all in good humour, although we’ll note that Iverson and the Philadelphia 76ers lost that Finals series to Lue and the Los Angeles Lakers, and then Lue and the Clippers emerged victorious over Gilgeous-Alexander and the Thunder on Tuesday.
Well, however the games go down in the history books, we won’t forget that AI stepped over Lue and that Shai put it on a hoodie. Impeccable troll job.
