Some professional athletes have learned to master how to properly sell a call, but some athletes are still trying to figure it out.

In a recent Swedish Hockey League game between the Malmö Redhawks and Skellefteå AIK, the home crowd was treated to quite the night out and we’re not just talking about witnessing a 9-0 victory from their team. With the visitors trailing 3-0 and on the power play late in the second period, Konstantin Komarek tried to help his team get an even larger man advantage but it backfired on him.

The 26-year-old Austrian forward thought he was about to give his team a 5-on-3 man advantage thanks to his acting abilities, but the officials were having none of it and handed him a two-minute penalty for diving.

We’ve seen some terrible attempts at dives in the past and this one is certainly high up on that list.
