The Edmonton Oilers have had a lot of first overall picks over the past nine years, and it all started with Taylor Hall back in 2010.

Hall was selected by the Oilers with the first pick in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft and he went on to play his first six seasons with the team before he was traded to the New Jersey Devils. At the time of the trade, Hall was in the middle of a 7-year, $42 million deal, but now he’s in the final year of that deal and the Devils need to decide what they’re going to do moving forward.

With Hall currently set to become a free agent at the end of the season, the soon-to-be 28-year-old is starting to get asked about his future. With the Devils in Edmonton on Friday, Hall was asked about a possible reunion with the Oilers and, while he said he hasn’t put much thought into it, he hasn’t exactly ruled out a return to the team that drafted him.

Oilers fans were pretty upset when their team traded Hall, but a lot of that anger was in regards to the return the team got for a guy with 132 goals and 328 points in 381 games.

However, we’re guessing there’s a lot of Oilers fans who wouldn’t mind the addition of Taylor Hall right now.

If you’re an Oilers fan, how do you feel about a possible Taylor Hall reunion?
