Anthony Davis trade rumours have been heating up over the past week after the five-time NBA All-Star made it clear he doesn’t plan on resigning with the New Orleans Pelicans once his contract expires and would prefer to be traded before that time comes.

On Wednesday night the Pelicans hosted the Denver Nuggets and were without their 25-year-old superstar for the sixth straight game, and fans quickly noticed something during the pre-game hype up video.

Davis made it clear he doesn’t want to be in New Orleans much longer and apparently they’re ready to move on as they were quick to remove the three-time NBA blocks leader from the introduction video.

Before the game, Pelicans head coach Alvin Gentry discussed the recent Davis trade rumours and he mentioned that he’s unsure whether or not Davis will suit up for the Pelicans ever again.

In 41 games this season, the Chicago, Illinois native is averaging career-highs across the board with 29.3 points, 13.3 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game, as well a whopping 2.6 blocks per game.
