We’ve seen what the NHL’s Reverse retro jersey look like. Now, it’s time to turn things over to the Association.
The NBA has had its share of beauties, and there are few things more fun than seeing those ‘City Edition’ jerseys for the first time, but we couldn’t help but wonder what some jerseys from the league would look like if they followed the NHL’s path. So, our very talented graphics team got to work and mocked up their our Reverse Retro sweaters for the Bucs, 76ers, Jazz, Pacers, and Suns. We’re not trying to brag or anything but they turned out (*cue Larry David*) pretty, pretty, pretty good. Pretty good.
They’re all beautiful but this writer will always have special place in his heart for that Jazz design. Bring those things back permanently!
On another note, an NBA team introduced a real new alternate jersey today and we’re still not quite sure how we feel about it. On one hand, the colours are pretty cool. On the other… it kind of looks like a Trix yogurt snack pack. We’ll let you be the judge of that.
