The NFL has made some changes to the Draft over the past few years and have allowed franchises to have some fun when it comes to announcing their picks. We’ve seen selections made from space and made by movie characters, to name a few, and now we can add Olympic gold medalists to the list.

With the 102nd overall pick in the fourth round of this year’s NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings turned things over to the 2018 U.S. Men’s Olympic Curling gold medalist team.

As the gold medalists worked on hitting the perfect shot, the Vikings’ cheer team and fans took part in the SKOL chant to give them a little momentum. With the pick, the Vikings went with defensive end Jalyn Holmes out of Ohio State.

They weren’t done there, though, as they also got to announce the team’s 157th overall pick in the 5th round, but it was a little less dramatic.
