At 41 years of age, Vince Carter is still finding ways to entertain basketball fans worldwide.

VC put on a show last night at a Golden 1 Center during an altercation with Detroit Pistons power forward Blake Griffin. The 29-year-old expressed his frustration when he wasn’t granted continuation after Carter fouled him. Griffin had backed down Carter and drained a shot, but an initial reach-in foul blew the play dead beforehand. Griffin, visibly upset, voiced his displeasure before Vince eventually intervened.

That quickly put an end to Griffin’s argument.

Carter wasn’t the only veteran athlete to hop on the mocking train last night either. Across seas, SKA Saint Petersburg superstar Ilya Kovalchuk mocked his opponent for turtling rather than fighting in Game three of his team’s conference semifinals against Lokomotiv.

Despite the incident, every basketball fan knows Vince is a solid dude at heart. Just last month, he made time to chat with his die-hard fan that traveled nearly 6,700 miles from Taiwan to see him in action.

The Kings ultimately dropped the game 106-90, but at least VC was able to provide his fans with some quality entertainment.
