It’s no secret William Karlsson is a fan of Fortnite.
This past summer, Karlsson and fellow swede Oscar Dansk showed off an off-season working video by incorporating one of the dances from the popular video game.
With Halloween only nine days away and each NHL team planning early parties to around their respective schedules, Karlsson posted a photo to his Instagram account of him and his girlfriend, Emily Ferguson dressed up in Fornite’s “Wild Card” skin from the “High Stakes” update.
Even if you’re not a fan of Fortnite, this is a pretty impressive, as Karlsson even has the club style skin, which is appropriate considering he plays in Vegas.
You may recognize Ferguson’s name (it’s pretty tough to tell who she is based on the costume) from The Bachelor’s 20th season.
The stakes were certainly raised for Karlsson coming into this season after converting on 23.4 percent of his shots for 43 goals in 2017-18.
So far through eight games, Karlsson has managed only two goals with an 8.3 shooting percentage, but still managed a point-per-game with eight total, just two shy of Jonathan Marchessault’s team-leading 10.
