He's been called a lot of things over his 21-year NHL career.

A mammoth, beast, giant, warrior are just some to name a few. But what about a workhorse, or better yet, a horse?

At 42-years young, Chara is still a key piece to the Bruins defensive core averaging just under 21 minutes of ice time per game.

In recent weeks, several of the Bruins have picked up their activity on social media, spearheaded by Brad Marchand and Torey Krug. "Big Z" hasn't quite gone to the level of his two teammates going back and forth against each other, but he's certainly spiking up the humour levels with his latest post.

Wait, so is this a regular size horse or? 🐴😂 . Via @zeechara33

"Found myself a real horse," wrote Chara in the caption on his page.

Full disclosure: that's a real, full-grown, horse that the 6'9" 250-pound defender is sitting on, not a little pony, right?

In 55 games this season, Chara has produced 11 points (4 goals, 7 assists) with 53 PIMs and is a plus 16 and will once again be relied on to be a horse come the playoffs if the Bruins want to string together a long post-season run.
