Eddie Lack will hit the ice with his third NHL franchise next season and he’s looking to bounce back from two down years with the Carolina Hurricanes.

This past week, EA Sports slowly started revealing different player ratings for the upcoming NHL 18 video game and Lack’s rating happened to be one of them. It wasn’t as high as he was hoping, but he’s not taking it personally.

The Calgary Flames goalie shared his rating on Twitter and mentioned how he was using his 79 overall rating as extra motivation heading into the season.
 

After going 34-30-9 with a .917 save percentage and 2.43 goals against average in 82 games with the Vancouver Canucks, Lack went on to post a 20-21-9 record with a .902 save percentage and 2.75 goals against average in 54 games with the Carolina Hurricanes.
