Green Bay Packers fans and football fans around the NFL all thought the Packers’ season was over when Aaron Rodgers went down with a fractured right collarbone in the team’s Week 6 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

Surgery went well. Thanks for all the love, support, thoughts and prayers. #comebackstartsnow #riseagain #

However, with Week 14 quickly approaching the Packers own a 7-6 record and find themselves right in the middle of the NFC Wild Card race and they got some terrific news from their six-time Pro Bowl quarterback on Tuesday night.

Rodgers shared a photo from his hospital bed on Tuesday night and shared it with the following caption.

It's been a long road from that day to this, but I'm happy to say I've been medically cleared to return. Thanks for all the love, support, prayers, and well wishes over the past 8 weeks ❤️ and a big thank you to Dr McKenzie and our incredible training staff. #riseagain

The Packers’ medical staff was put on blast by Martellus Bennett after the tight end was waived by the Packers earlier this year, but the two-time NFL MVP made sure to give the team’s medical and training staff proper shout-outs in his post.

Now that Rodgers has been medically cleared to play, the Packers certainly have a shot at making a late push for the playoffs, especially with how tight the NFC Wild Card race is right now.
