Goalie interference has been a hot topic all season long in the NHL in the worst way possible.  It seems like at least once every night in the NHL, there's a controversial decision being made about goaltender interference.

At this point, fans, coaches and players probably feel as though there's no consistency to the call which is a huge issue in itself and we can honestly say that everyone involved in hockey probably doesn't know what goalie interference is anymore, much like football fans have no clue what a catch is anymore.

Thursday night, goaltender interference was once again a huge issue in multiple games, but the call we're going to focus on happened in the Blues' loss to the Bruins.

Jake Allen was in between the pipes for St. Louis and the Bruins scored a controversial goal that somehow stood.

If you watch the play, you can see why it's quite controversial, especially because the goal counted and the explanation the Blues got was just as controversial.

After the game, Mike Yeo took the high road and saved some money by not commenting on the call, but Blues GM Doug Armstrong didn't hold back.

The fact that these controversial calls keep happening is not a good thing for the sport and if you think the outrage is bad now, wait until the playoffs when every goal matters that much more.

For now, though, we hope everyone works together to try and figure out what isn't and is goalie interference before the playoffs begin at the very least.
