The KHL might be the most entertaining league in the world when it comes to putting on a show during All-Star Weekend.

Every year, players find different ways to get creative during the Skills Competition and usually end up hitting the ice in unusual costumes

Most of the players tend to put in a little extra effort during this particular weekend as an attempt to give everyone in attendance their full money’s worth. However, just because they get creative with their outfits it doesn’t take anything away from the actual hockey aspect of the weekend.

During the shootout competition, Vegas Golden Knights prospect Nikita Gusev pulled off an absolutely ridiculous move and capped it all off by going top shelf for a beautiful goal.

It looked like the goalie had caught on to what Gusev was going to attempt, but once the 25-year-old released the puck there was no chance for the tender.

Gusev was originally selected 202nd overall by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, but his rights were dealt to the Golden Knights, along with a 2nd-round pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft and a 4th-round pick in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft, after Vegas selected Jason Garrison in the Expansion Draft.

In 324 KHL games, Gusev has recorded 102 goals and 144 assists for 246 points, with 129 of those points coming over the past 106 games.
