The Drew League was established in 1973 by Alvin Wills and it has become one of the most recognizable and toughest basketball leagues around the world over its 45-year existence.

The league takes place in South Central Los Angeles and has featured plenty of NBA superstars along the way including Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, James Harden, Paul George, DeMar DeRozan and many more. One of the many current NBA players participating in this year’s version of the tournament is Toronto Raptors guard Delon Wright, who’s playing for the Hometown Favorites.

During his team’s recent game against LA Unified, the 26-year-old made quite the impression in front of his hometown crowd and had the crowd going wild with some of his plays, especially this ankle-breaker.

There was hardly anyone left in their seats after that awesome play that led to an easy two points.

Wright helped lead the Hometown Favorites to an 80-70 victory over LA Unified to improve to 6-1 in the tournament and to give their opponent their first loss of the tournament.
