Scott Darling was selected by the Phoenix Coyotes in the sixth round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, but he didnโt get his big break in the NHL until the 2014-15 season with the Chicago Blackhawks.
This upcoming season, the 28-year-old will begin the next chapter of his professional career as heโll battle Cam Ward for the starting position in between the pipes for the Carolina Hurricanes.
On Monday evening, artist David Gunnarsson unveiled Darlingโs first Hurricanes-themed mask and it has a special 4-D touch to it.
The mask looks pretty sweet overall and is going to look very sharp when he hits the ice in his new Hurricanes threads.
Last week, Darling also unveiled his new equipment that heโs going to rock this season and his pads also feature the Hurricanesโ logo.
