Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir have won over the hearts of just about every single Canadian while competing together on the international level. Later this year the Canadian duo will hit the road as headliners for the Thank You Canada Tour, which includes other Olympic figure skaters such as Patrick Chan, Meagan Duhamel, Eric Radford, Kaetlyn Osmond and Elvis Stojko, to name a few, but first they paid a visit to the BarDown studio.

The five-time Olympic medalists, three-time World Champions and eight-time National champions have performed very well under pressure and at the highest level over the years, but we wanted to see how they handle the spotlight when they’re telling jokes and not pulling off some of the most incredible moves we’ve seen on ice.

Virtue and Moir had no idea what they were in for when they showed up but they were all for it as they went head-to-head in a friendly competition of ‘Joke-Off’ and let’s just say their moves on the ice are much more impressive than their joke-telling abilities.

The Thank You Canada Tour opens up on October 5 in Abbotsford, BC, and concludes November 24 in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
