Last week the Philadelphia Flyers announced that Oskar Lindblom is not expected to play for the remainder of the season after the 23-year-old was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer.

The Flyers spent all of last week on the road, so with Tuesday night’s game against the Anaheim Ducks being their first home game since Lindblom’s diagnosis, the team did something special to show solidarity with Lindblom as he battles cancer.

The Flyers players are also going to wear Oskar Strong shirts under their jerseys and the team will also be selling them during the game, with all proceeds going towards cancer research.

Don’t expect a dry eye in the building when everyone in the stands holds up their signs during a break in the action.
