Brennan Menell was very impressive during his three seasons in the WHL.

The Woodbury, Minnesota native spent the first two years with the Vancouver Giants where he totaled nine goals and 65 assists for 74 points in 126 games, and he followed that up with 12 goals and 59 assists for 71 points in 70 games with the Lethbridge Hurricanes.

Despite posting 21 goals and 124 assists for 145 points in 196 career WHL games, Menell ended up going undrafted and ended up signing a three-year, entry-level deal with the Minnesota Wild this past September. The 20-year-old defenceman is currently playing in the AHL with the Iowa Wild and scored a ridiculous goal on Wednesday night.

Menell’s fifth goal of the season helped the Wild jump out to an early lead and they eventually went on to win the game.
